Field trip

Places

The named businesses of Leonida, the salons, garages and storefronts Rockstar has actually put in front of a camera. A short list, entirely verified: every entry here was identified by looking at the official screenshot, not by trusting its filename.

A back-street salon, and quietly one of the most mechanically important buildings in the game.
Confirmed Salon

Sara's Unisex Salon

A back-street salon, and quietly one of the most mechanically important buildings in the game.

The window lists blow dry, cut and styling above a phone number beginning 786, one of Miami's two real area codes. In the official shot Jason is wearing a hairstyle nothing like his default and Lucia has braids, which is the whole point: changing your hairstyle is a confirmed way to clear a physical description from the police. This is where the wanted system meets the map.

Spotted 786 is Miami's overlay area code, introduced in 1998 when 305 ran out of numbers.

Neon wolf's head, red runic lettering, a bike parked outside. A confirmed Keys landmark.
Confirmed Tattoo parlour

Electric Fang Tattoo

A tattoo parlour fronted by an enormous neon wolf and a runic-lettered fascia. Tattoos have been character customisation since San Andreas, and a named parlour given this much art direction suggests the system returns properly rather than as set dressing.

Wyman, his wrench, and a yard full of muscle. Parts bought and sold.
Confirmed Salvage yard

Wyman's World Auto Salvage Co.

Wyman's shirt carries the business name, the strapline "parts bought and sold", and a 305 number. Muscle cars fill the yard behind him, including a stars-and-stripes coupe and a red race car wearing number 36. Given that stolen vehicles have to be moved through specialised fences, a named salvage yard with a named owner is worth watching.

Spotted The man in the shot is a mechanic at the yard, not necessarily Wyman himself.

Candy paint, gold spoke wheels, hydraulics. The lowrider shop.
Confirmed Custom garage

Rideout Customs

Official artwork shows a candy-flaked coupe on gold wire wheels under studio lighting. "Albany" is legible on the bodywork, Rockstar's Cadillac analogue, and a manufacturer that had not previously been catalogued for GTA 6. If Rideout is where customisation happens, this is where the money goes.

A street-art district, and the shop inside it with a wall of spray cans sorted by colour.
Confirmed Graffiti supply

Stock 305

Two official shots and they show two different things. Outside: murals wall to wall, a van wrapped in op-art, and signage for "Stockyard Art Tours" on 1-999-ART-TOUR. Inside: a rack of spray cans running floor to ceiling, arranged into a gradient from green through yellow to red. Real Miami has Wynwood; Leonida has this, and it sells you the paint.

Spotted Jason is browsing the paint wall with a pistol tucked into his waistband. 305 is Miami's original area code, the same one on Wyman's shirt.

A car park at night, a bike doing a burnout, and a dozen phones filming it.
Confirmed Store and hangout

PTT Store

The clearest picture yet of what GTA 6 is actually satirising. A pink-and-teal dirt bike smokes its rear tyre outside the store while a crowd films on phones, one of them kneeling for the low angle. Rockstar has confirmed an extensive in-game social platform and NPC encounters that develop into events. This is what that looks like standing still.

Tourist tat: caps, tees, and a pink crocodile in a purple jacket holding a cocktail.
Confirmed Souvenir shop

Goodtime Gear

A souvenir shop selling "Vice City Leonida" merchandise, fronted by a mascot that is a sunglasses-wearing pink crocodile. Jason and Lucia are wearing the gear in front of a "Greetings from Vice City" postcard mural, which is Rockstar selling you a game about a place by selling the characters a T-shirt about that place.

Spotted The apparel shown here is Ultimate Edition exclusive clothing.
