What is actually in the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition: read off Rockstar's own press bundle
Rockstar has never published an item list for the £20 Ultimate Edition upgrade. But it does publish a press download titled Ultimate Edition Benefits, and the files inside name the vehicles, the weapons and the shops involved. Here is what they show.

The Ultimate Edition costs £20 / $20 more than Standard. Ask what that buys and every site, including this one until today, gives you the same shrug: Rockstar describes “premium vehicles, weapons, apparel” and has never published an item list.
That is still true. There is no list. But there is something better than a shrug.
Rockstar publishes its press assets as downloadable bundles, and one of them is titled
GTAVI_Ultimate_Edition_Benefits.zip. The files inside are named. They do not give you
quantities, but they tell you what is in there and, more interestingly, how it is structured.
The vehicles
Six named vehicles appear in the bundle.
| Vehicle | What the art shows |
|---|---|
| Grotti Cheetah | The Testarossa-shaped supercar, Rockstar’s long-running Ferrari analogue |
| Shitzu Squalo | A speedboat, and Leonida has the Keys, Grassrivers and a state-length coastline |
| Vapid Ganado | A coupe utility: muscle car at the front, pickup bed at the back |
| Vapid Buggy | A 1960s muscle coupe cut down into a lifted mud racer |
| Albany lowrider | Candy paint and gold wire wheels, shot at Rideout Customs |
| “One-Eyed Willie” | A Canis truck, named rather than described |
Two of those were missing from our vehicle database entirely. They are in it now, with the art. The garage is here.
The detail worth stopping on: the Vapid Buggy is not a generic dune buggy. It is painted in Wyman’s World Auto Salvage livery, “parts bought and sold”, race number 6, the same 305 phone number that is on Wyman’s shirt. An Ultimate Edition vehicle is liveried for a business you can visit on the map. Wyman’s is on our places page.
That is not what a cosmetic DLC pack usually looks like.
The weapons are variants, not extra guns
This is the finding that should change how you read the offer.
The bundle’s weapon file is called WEAPON_VARIANTS, and the art shows two pistols beside a
pool: Jason’s Girardi ES9, engraved J. DUVAL and SUA SPONTE, the US Army Rangers motto, with decorated grips, and Lucia’s Klose K17, finished in deep red with a rose, her name
scripted on the slide and KL17G1 stamped on it.
Both of those are base-game weapons. What the Ultimate Edition appears to add is personalised, engraved versions of guns you already get, not additional firearms. A second file names the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, again a variant of a weapon already in the game.
Rockstar has not said this in words, so we are reading it off the art, but “weapon variants” is Rockstar’s own filename, and variants is what the pictures show. Every weapon identified so far.
Apparel, and the bit everyone misses
The bundle also contains art named for Sara’s Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo, Stock 305, Goodtime Gear and the PTT Store, hairdresser, tattooist, graffiti supply shop, souvenir shop, and a store car park.
Those are not items. They are places. Which lines up exactly with how Rockstar described the Ultimate Edition on its own site: an exclusive collection of items “threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story.”
The most reasonable reading, and we are labelling it a reading, not a fact, is that the Ultimate Edition unlocks exclusive options at businesses across the map: haircuts at Sara’s, tattoo designs at Electric Fang, paint at Stock 305, clothing at Goodtime Gear. That would explain why the press bundle is full of shops instead of a grid of items. All seven named businesses.
So is it worth £20?
Our position has not changed much, but it is far better informed.
What you appear to be buying: a supercar, a speedboat, two classic-derived cars, a truck, a lowrider, engraved variants of pistols you already own, and exclusive apparel and customisation options spread across named shops.
What you are not buying is extra guns, extra missions or extra map. Nothing in the bundle suggests story content.
And you still do not have to decide today. PlayStation lists an Ultimate Edition Upgrade as a separate product, so buying Standard now and upgrading later remains open. The full edition comparison.
What is still genuinely unknown
Rockstar has published pictures, not a list. Nobody outside the studio knows how many apparel items, how many weapon variants, or whether the vehicles are handed to you at the start or unlocked as you play. Anyone giving you a count is making it up.
Method, because it matters here: every caption above was written after looking at the image rather
than reading the filename. That is not pedantry, Rockstar’s WYMAN_CAR_COLLECTION_01 is a
portrait of a mechanic, and SAFEHOUSE_VEHICLES_01 is a house.

Rockstar has confirmed the physical GTA 6 release contains a one-time download code, not a disc. It reaches shops on November 12: the same day digital pre-orders start pre-loading, so it buys you no head start. Here is exactly what you get and what you lose.
